Enfold (2016)

This ritual performance installation explores themes of relocation, shelter and shorelines from the talented team of Jade Dewi Tyas Tunggal, Ria Soemardjo and Paula van Beek.‐ also known as the Opal Vapour Artists. Audiences are gently invited into an intimate, direct encounter with objects, movement and live sound.

Copy, Cut, Post (2016)
June 26th 2016 - Exhibition opening 10 artists. 12 hours. 1 exhibition. Copy, Cut, Post invited ten female artists of different ages, from different disciplines, into a live art experiment exploring the complexity of making meaningful self-portraits in this disposable Instagram age. Me, My Selfie & Major Tom (2015)
ACMI, Melbourne
Exploring identity through image and performance has been influenced by cultural icons such as David Bowie and artists like Andy Warhol and Cindy Sherman. Autobiography and self-portraiture have a long tradition that has reached fever pitch in the era of Instagram and selfie sticks. This free project was open to young people interested in exploring their ‘other selves' in workshops about persona, selfies and avatars. Over four creative sessions, lead by professional artists, the project explores ways of making - and mashing up - self portraits using photography, video, projections, online spaces and live performance.

OPAL VAPOUR is a mesmerising dance performance that seamlessly integrates dynamic contemporary choreography with haunting live voice and instrumentals, lighting elements, shadow play and live-feed camera projection. The work explores deep connections to nature and place of birth, ceremonial cleansing for purification and embodiment in performance.
